Objectives of the workshop 

At the end of the workshop, and based on your personal work, you should be able to: 

• Improve language proficiency at B2.3-C1 level 

• Deepen understanding of culture, art, society and politics in German-speaking countries 

• Analyse and discuss complex texts (across all skills) 

• Develop presentation and discussion skills 

This workshop explores themes related to culture, art, social issues and politics in German-speaking countries. Through a combination of reading, discussions and presentations, participants will develop their language skills while gaining a deeper understanding of German culture and society. Topics covered include art history and current cultural events, social and environmental developments, as well as ongoing political debates in the D-A-CH countries. 

This workshop will allow you to broaden your cultural and political knowledge of the German-speaking world while sharpening your language skills through discussion, analysis and presentation. 

A workshop is not subject to evaluations and therefore does not entitle you to a skills assessment or re-enrolment in a higher-level course.
