Chinese A1 Standard Blended Learning

This course is aimed at beginners, without any prior knowledge of the Chinese language.

Duration 

This course spans a full school year, i.e., two semesters. 

Course Objectives 

By the end of this course, you will be familiar with: 

• The rules and specifics of the language 

• The characters 

• The phonetics: the pinyin and the tones 

At the end of the course, and depending on your personal work, you should be able to: 

• Introduce yourself 

• Introduce someone 

• Talk about your tastes and hobbies 

• Talk about, and exchange simple information about, your daily life 

• Propose an outing / Make an appointment 

• Communicating very easily in everyday life 

By the end of this course, you should: 

• Master about 150 characters 

The evaluation is done by continuous assessment as well as by a speaking test at the end of the course.
