French A2.1-A2.2 ROMA Compact for Romance speakers

This course is intended for people who have reached A1 level in French* and who speak a Romance language (Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, or Romanian).

* who could introduce themselves, talk about their likes, interests, and hobbies, describe their daily life, communicate in a very simple way in everyday situations.

Course Objectives

At the end of the course, and depending on your personal work, you should be able to:

• Exchange information on everyday matters:  introduce yourself and others, talk about your activities, your health, your surroundings (home, hobbies, shops, travel, holidays)
• Describe and compare places (town, neighborhood, accommodation, etc.), people, things
• Ask and give advice and directions
• Narrate personal or professional experiences, general news, habits, biographies
• Give your opinion on a simple matter or practical issue
• Talk about the future and your plans, make forecasts

The evaluation is done by continuous assessment as well as by a speaking test at the end of the course.
