Course Objectives 

At the end of the course, and depending on your personal work, you should be able to: 

– introduce yourself 

– introduce someone 

– talk about your tastes and hobbies 

– talk about your daily life and exchange information about it 

– suggest an outing/make an appointment 

– communicate very simply in everyday life 

– identify and produce phonemes: sharpen your ear and perfect your pronunciation 

– reproduce intonation, elisions and stress: these elements make up the trio that determines the musicality of the French language.  

This workshop emphasizes that the importance of pronunciation is on a par with lexis and grammar. 

It offers an immersive exploration of French phonetics and prosody in order to achieve a more harmonious speaking style, while understanding the subtleties differentiating oral and written styles. 

The evaluation is done by continuous assessment as well as by a speaking test at the end of the course.
