French B2.2-B2.3-C1 Workshop : Oral & Written - Literature & Cinema

TARGET AUDIENCE

You have achieved at least a B2.1 level and want to improve your oral and written communication skills in relation to abstract or concrete subjects chosen from literature.

Assuming regular attendance and independent study, you should be able to do the following by the end of this workshop:

Better express yourself in various forms (informal exchanges, presentations, reviews, creative writings)

METHODOLOGY

Pair work and work in the class plenum.

COURSE TYPE

This workshop (twice a week, for one semester):

– is based on the skills outlined in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR)

– is intended for people who want to maintain their language level or progress at a more relaxed pace. There might be additional work required outside of the classroom.

Learners are not assessed. No certificate outlining the skills level will be issued and re-registration in a higher level course is not possible.

COURSE MATERIALS

Extracts from novels of French-language literature (contemporary and classic) and film extracts.

eVALUATION

A workshop is not subject to evaluation, and therefore does not entitle you to a skills assessment or re-registration in a higher level course.
