French C1 Workshop : Preparation DALF C1 - Written exam
TARGET AUDIENCE
You have achieved at least a B2.3 level and want to improve your written communication skills to take the DALF C1 exam.

LEARNING OUTCOMES
Assuming regular attendance and independent study, you should be able to do the following by the end of this workshop:
– Acquire and apply the strategies necessary to succeed in reading and writing assessments (e.g. rapid and detailed readings, identification of main ideas and important details, techniques for planning and organizing ideas, etc.)
– Understand in detail a wide variety of long and complex texts
– Write summaries by selecting relevant information, reformulating and organizing it in a logical and coherent manner while ensuring that you remain objective and neutral
– Produce a structured and convincing textual argument on a complex subject.
METHODOLOGY
Pair work and work in the class plenum.
COURSE TYPE
This workshop (twice a week, for one semester) is based on the skills outlined in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR)
Learners are not assessed. No certificate outlining the skills level will be issued and re-registration in a higher level course is not possible.
Additional work outside of the classroom is required.
