Objectives of the workshop 

At the end of the workshop, and based on your personal work, you should be able to: 

– acquire and apply the strategies necessary to succeed in reading and writing assessments (e.g. rapid and detailed readings, identification of main ideas and important details, techniques for planning and organizing ideas, etc.) 

– understand in detail a wide variety of long and complex texts 

– write summaries by selecting relevant information, reformulating and organizing it in a logical and coherent manner while ensuring that you remain objective and neutral 

– produce a structured and convincing textual argument on a complex subject 

A workshop is not subject to evaluations and therefore does not entitle you to a skills assessment or re-enrolment in a higher-level course.
