Training to promote the Luxembourgish language in the workplace Kommunikatiounscoach op der Aarbecht

Target audience

The training course is open to anyone who:

speaks Luxembourgish fluently, as a native Luxembourgish speaker or not;
wishes to become a communication coach to support colleagues using Luxembourgish at work in a caring manner;
is autonomous and open-minded;
has the necessary IT equipment and is proficient with digital tools.

Training structure

The training comprises a total of 40 hours and is delivered in Luxembourgish.

It follows a blended learning format:
4 days of in-person training, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., at the INLL (Glacis site), on Thursdays.

Module 1: Role of the communication coach
Module 2: Tools to support an adult in a workplace learning context
Module 3: Material design
Module 4: Action plans

16 hours of eLearning, to be completed during working hours at the workplace.

Module 1: Speaking, listening and understanding spoken Luxembourgish
Module 2: Reading, writing and telephone communication
Module 3: Designing action plans

Assessment and certification

Assessment takes place throughout the course.

The following are required to obtain the certificate:

a minimum attendance rate of 70%;
all eLearning activities complete and three presented orally;
a designed and presented action plan.

The training takes place over one semester.
