Luxembourgish B1 GERMA Standard for German- or Dutch-speakers

You have reached level A2.2 in Luxembourgish. You speak fluent German or Dutch, with a strong grasp of syntax. You understand Luxembourgish but lack a solid grammatical foundation and do not speak it. Ideally, you have some knowledge of French.

Course Objectives

At the end of the course, and depending on your personal work, you should be able to:

• Narrate in the past tense 
• Make descriptions of people and situations
• Talk about plans and projects
• Talk about prevention and health in daily life and the workplace
• Understand, summarize, and comment on the main points of short messages
• Talk about the workplace
• Talk about your housing situation
• Understand topics of general social interest and discuss them controversially
• Defend your point of view on topics from the news and the current issues

The evaluation is done by continuous assessment as well as by a speaking test at the end of the course.
