IELTS (International English Language Testing System) is a globally recognized English proficiency test taken by over 4 million people annually and accepted by more than 12,500 organizations in over 140 countries.

IELTS is intended for individuals who want to study or work in an English-speaking environment and need to prove their English proficiency, or for those planning to emigrate to an English-speaking country.

There are two versions of the IELTS test: Academic or General Training. Visit this link to determine which version best suits your needs https://ielts.org/take-a-test/test-types. Both versions assess four language skills - listening, reading, writing and speaking - and cover proficiency levels from A1 to C2 on the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages).

At the INLL, the computer-based IELTS test (both Academic and General Training) is offered on two days each month (Friday and Saturday), except in August. Test results are usually available electronically within 3-5 calendar days and are valid for two years.
