Servicio Internacional de Evaluación de la Lengua Española
The SIELE (Servicio Internacional de Evaluación de la Lengua Española) is an internationally recognized Spanish proficiency test. It is supported by prestigious institutions, including the Instituto Cervantes, UNAM (Mexico), the University of Salamanca, and the University of Buenos Aires. The exam assesses Spanish proficiency according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).

SIELE Exam at INLL: Version and availability
The SIELE is a digital exam with multiple formats. The most comprehensive option is the SIELE Global, which evaluates four language skills:
- Reading
- Listening
- Written
- Speaking
The INLL offers the SIELE Global, covering CEFR proficiency levels from A1 to C1, with regular availability throughout the year depending on the center’s schedule. Candidates can also take individual modules based on their needs.
Results
Results are available within three weeks after completing the exam. Candidates receive an international electronic certificate, valid for five years, with a score of up to 1000 points, along with a CEFR equivalency for each assessed skill.
