French A1 Blended Learning Standard hybrid

TARGET AUDIENCE

You do not speak French at all, apart from a few basic words such as "Bonjour" and "Au revoir" and you are already literate in a Roman language.

You have computer equipment (PC, laptop) connected to the Internet and you know how to use it without difficulty. Good knowledge of word processing (Office, emails ...) as well as the habit and / or willingness to use applications, cloud and online sharing platforms are required to follow the courses.

Assuming regular attendance and independent study, you should be able to do the following by the end of this course:

– Introduce yourself

– Introduce someone

– Talk about your tastes and hobbies

– Talk about your daily life and exchange information on the subject

– Suggest an outing/Make an appointment

– Communicate very simply in everyday life.

METHODOLOGY

Pair work and work in the class plenum.

COURSE TYPE

This course offers a combination of classroom and distance learning.

Twice a week: a 100-minute face-to-face lesson at the INL or online.

Learners choose the lesson format that suits them for each lesson (face-to-face or remotely), except 4 times during the semester, where all learners must be in person (on the first day of classes, and  
on dates provided by the teacher at the start of the semester).
Equipment present in the classroom allows the session to be broadcast  
on the internet via the Teams or Moodle platforms.

+ once a week: approximately 100 minutes of independent work on the online material provided by the teacher

Both courses are compulsory and complementary.

The course is based on the work schemes drawn up on the basis of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).

All learners are assessed and will be issued a certificate outlining their skills level.

EVALUATION

Learners will be assessed continuously throughout the semester and on the basis of a final oral test. They will receive a certificate outlining their level in the four skills (reading, writing, listening and speaking).
