Luxembourgish C1 Standard

TARGET AUDIENCE

You have acquired the skills required for the B2.3 level or you are a native speaker, but you want to work on your speaking skills to feel more comfortable speaking Luxembourgish. This course emphasizes oral expression and comprehension as well as vocabulary development. No prior cultural or literary knowledge required.

Assuming regular attendance and independent study, you should be able to do the following by the end of the course:

• Feel more at ease while speaking

·         express yourself in a fairly spontaneous, easy and fluid way

• Start to appropriate a more authentic language

·         understand longer texts of a certain level of difficulty and complexity

·         express yourself in a fairly spontaneous, easy and fluid way

·         use the language in a flexible and efficient way in everyday life, at a professional level as well as at a level of training and studies

·         express yourself in a correct, clear, nuanced and succinct manner in relation to complex subjects using a variety of language means.

EVALUATION

Learners will be assessed continuously throughout the semester or on the basis of a final oral test at the end of each semester.  They will receive a certificate outlining their level of skills.
