Portuguese A2.1 Standard E-learning

TARGET AUDIENCE

You have basic knowledge of Portuguese (level A1), want to make progress in learning Portuguese and have time to commit to a language course.

E-Learning courses are designed for people who have computer equipment (PC, laptop) connected to the Internet and who know how to use it without difficulty. Good knowledge of word processing (Office, e-mail, etc.) and the ability and/or willingness to use applications, a cloud and online sharing platforms are required to follow the courses.

LEARNING OUTCOMES

Assuming regular attendance and independent study, you should achieve the level A2.2 of the CEFR by the end of this course.

You should be able to do the following in writing and in speech:

  • Exchange information on everyday matters: introduce yourself and others, talk about your activities, your health, your surroundings: home, hobbies, shops, travel, holidays, etc.
  • Describe and compare places (town, neighbourhood, accommodation, etc.), people, things
  • Ask and give advice and directions

COURSE TYPES

An E-Learning course (100-minute lesson, twice a week) :

  • Twice a week, a 100-minute face-to-face course by videoconference
  • Discussions with the teacher at fixed times (office hours) by e-mail, chat, etc.
  • Exchanges with other group members
  • Based on work plans
  • Subject to assessment and entitled to a skills review

EVALUATION

Learners will be assessed continuously throughout the semester or on the basis of a final test at the end of each semester. They will receive a certificate outlining their level in the four skills (reading, writing, listening and speaking).
