Portuguese B2.1 Standard

TARGET AUDIENCE

You have basic knowledge of Portuguese (level B1.2), want to make progress in learning Portuguese and have time to commit to a language course.

LEARNING OUTCOMES

Assuming regular attendance and independent study, you should achieve the level B2.2 of the CEFR by the end of this course.

You should be able to do the following in writing and in speech:

Pass on messages from others

Recognise and present objects and people, taking into account their characteristics

Understand and point out any past event

Express personal changes

Present and give arguments in favour of or against ideas

A standard course is:

- based on schemes of work

- all learners are assessed and will be issued a certificate outlining their skills level

- intended for learners who are autonomous (internet research) and who are ready to invest some time outside of the classroom for their learning progress.

EVALUATION

Learners will be assessed continuously throughout the semester or on the basis of a final test at the end of each semester. They will receive a certificate outlining their level in the four skills (reading, writing, listening and speaking).
