Cambridge Assessment

More than 25,000 organizations in 130 countries rely on Cambridge English Language Assessment exams as proof of English language proficiency.

Registration

To register for a Cambridge exam, you must create a MyINL account in the candidate’s name. There are no age restrictions for creating an account to take an exam at the INLL.

If you are already a registered student at the INLL, you do not need to create an additional account.

Intended audience

The lower-level exams (A2 and B1) help learners build confidence and improve their language skills, while the advanced levels (B2, C1, and C2) are designed for those who need English for higher education or career advancement.

Cambridge exams offered at INLL

The following exams are offered at INLL:

• A2 Key for Schools (computer-based)
• B1 Preliminary (paper-based)
• B2 First (paper-based)
• C1 Advanced (paper-based)
• C2 Proficiency (computer-based)

The exams assess all four language skills: reading, writing, listening, and speaking.

Results

Test results for paper-based exams are released electronically within four to six weeks after the exam day, while results for computer-based exams are usually available within two weeks. Cambridge certificates are valid for life.
