Course Objectives

Assuming regular attendance and independent study, you should be able to do the following by the end of the course:

• Understand a simple literary text and clearly describe real or imaginary events
• Understand the main statements on a social topic, describe them clearly and comment on them briefly and informally
• Understand the description of a current social phenomenon and actively participate in an informal discussion

The evaluation is done by continuous assessment as well as by a speaking test at the end of the course.
